Enjoy an excursion to Siena & San Gimignano from Florence

Enjoy a beautiful bus tour through the delightful hills of the Chianti countryside, with ever-changing scenery of vineyards and olive trees. Upon arrival in Siena, you will have a guided tour of the old city centre.

We will stroll along the small medieval streets, admiring the splendid palaces and ending up at the Cathedral, where you can visit the splendid interior including the Libreria Piccolomini and the adjacent Museo dellOpera Metropolitana.

This excursion must be booked at least 4 days in advance.

The guided tour will conclude in the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in the world, where you will find the Palazzo del Comune (exterior). Free time is provided for lunch. (The cost of lunch is not included in the tour price.)

After lunch we will depart for San Gimignano, a tiny Tuscan city that has remained intact through the centuries. It is situated on a hilltop and is famous world-wide for its numerous medieval towers, frescoes and other art treasures. You will have free time to discover this fascinating city. During the return journey, along the way visitors can admire the old medieval village of Monteriggioni enclosed by its famous walls, still intact.
